  * Upgrade to debhelper compatibility level 14.
    Explicitly enable the single-binary sequence to preserve installation
    into debian/libvisual-0.4-plugins.
    Use installation hooks so dh_auto_install receives the destination
    selected by that sequence, retaining catalog regeneration and .la cleanup.
    Let debhelper generate the runtime dependency substitutions automatically.
  * Record the upstream integration of the German translation patch.
