- Debian changelog in Git:
macaulay2 (1.26.05+ds-1) unstable; urgency=medium
* New upstream release.
* debian/control
- Add libjansson-dev to Build-Depends; Jansson is now used for parsing
JSON.
- Bump Standards-Version to 4.7.4.
* debian/copyright
- Remove BootSideMenu.css from Files-Excluded; this file is no longer
distributed.
- Update upstream copyright years.
- Merge stanzas for my upstream packages; they are all now GPL-2+.
- Add license information for new packages.
+ EliminationTemplates
+ Macaulay2Posets
+ MRDI
+ Padic
+ SimplicialModules
+ WittVectors
- Update paths to now-undistributed packages.
+ OldPolyhedra
+ OldToricVectorBundles
* debian/not-installed
- Mark that new static library for the Macaulay2 engine is not
installed.
* debian/patches
- Refresh for new upstream release.
* debian/gitignore.patch
- Remove patch; applied upstream.
* debian/skip-failing-core-tests.patch
- Skip part of alarm.m2; failing on s390x.
- Skip part of hilbertFunction.m2; timing assertion sometimes fails.
- Skip part of methods.m2; failing on armhf.
* debian/skip-failing-package-tests.patch
- Stop skipping check(1, "Depth"); test has been simplified.
- Skip check(73, "EngineTests"); failing on arm64.
- Skip check(86, "Complexes"); timing assertion sometimes fails.
Previously we skipped it on s390x and ppc64el, but now we skip it
everywhere.
- Skip check({5, 22, 24, 26, 27}, "SpecialFourFolds"); failing on armhf
and s390x.
+ debian/visualize.patch
- Remove patch for now; significant upstream changes have been made to
the Visualize package that will require more work to adapt to the
Debian Javascript ecosystem. Until then, the Visualize package
will be broken.
