    Use the paragraph-separating macro .PP instead of blank lines in man(7)
    source.  Blank lines produce a warning, and are discouraged.
    
    This warning was detected thanks to the new upstream make 'check'
    target, which is run by dh_auto_test.

    d/control: Build-Depends: Add groff (>= 1.23.0) and mandoc
    
    We need and groff(1) and mandoc(1) to run upstream's `make lint-man`.
    Moreover, groff 1.22.4 had spurious warnings, and didn't implement
    others, so we need at least 1.23.0.

    d/rules: override_dh_auto_test: Improve readability of logs
    
    Run make(1) twice consecutively.  The first run makes everything that
    won't fail, as fast as possible, and hiding any errors.  The second run
    will fail at the first target, because only failing targets are
    remaining.  Since it doesn't run with -j, the output isn't mixed with
    other output.

    d/rules: override_dh_auto_test: Run `make lint-man`
    
    Run linters configured in the upstream build system on the manual pages
    to catch regressions.
    
    Touch a few files which are known to fail upstream.

    d/rules: Override dh_auto_test.
    
    Upstream version 6.04 introduced the make 'check' target.  dh_auto_test
    detects it and runs it.  However, there are some tests that are known to
    fail, and should be disabled.  Upstream has documented how to do so in
    commit 475a8e862321 ("Changes.old: 6.04: Document the addition of
    `make check`").
