    This never worked: the test suite never really ran, it just didn't error
    out:
    
    Ran 0 tests in 0.000s
    
    NO TESTS RAN
    
    Now with python3.12 it really fails and causes ftbfs.
    
    Unfortunately it's not an easy fix, the powerline test suite is highly
    complicated, relies on unpackaged dependencies and scripts. Even back
    when it didn't have external dependencies I could never get it to
    actually pass.
